If you’re looking for a search engine to use with students, try www.kids.quintura.com It is a visual search engine that will assist students with their search words. Correct spelling is optional and all the sites are kid-friendly, so you won’t have to worry about students wandering off to less than desirable sites.

Read the Words
Here is a great website that kids can use to read material off the web or that they have written. http://readthewords.com/ By copying and pasting text, it will read your text out loud! It’s very cool, even though your kids will be imitating the robot-like sound.
